March 8 is International Women's day, the theme this year is leave no woman behind.
Supporting the empowerment
of women, a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact produced a
set of principles called The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
This is a theme that the
AWSN is passionate about with its chapters throughout Australia providing
support, mentorship and networking opportunities to encourage and empower women
working in security fields.
